Jack has finished his 1st 2 weeks of school. Other than a little problem with listening at the begining of the week he has done real well. He brings his papers home every week and he gets Smiley faces and stickers. Each day he also receives a sticker for conduct. If he gets 5 stickers by friday he gets a suprise. So far he's doing great! I always knew he would.

Jack is now in 1st grade and has finisshed his 1st semester. His report cards are wonderful with nothing below a 94% and he's been discribed to me as bright, polite, and eager to learn. This makes his Mom and Dad very proud! Winter Vacation is coming up and he wrote a letter to Santa. He loves to draw and his favorite subject is a Transformer/Power Ranger conglomeration currently on display on his bedroom wall.

WOOHOO!! Jack is in 2nd Grade!! Can you all believe it? His first day went woderfully. He had a few old friends from last year and met a few new ones. He had homework his first day too. He was given a brown paper sack and asked to place 5 things inside that best describe him. He chose a Star Wars AT-AT Figure, a Spiderman toy, some tin foil, and the manual to City of Heroes. He told them he collects Star Wars items and he loves to play with his Spiderman figures. He plays City of Heroes and he described a few of his characters. Now the tin foil is interesting. Jack likes to sculpt using either that or paper. He makes things out of these items and plays with them. He made something (a character from his game) and a teacher asked to keep it. Said she wanted to show it to other children. I'm very proud of him. Jack's been using paper and tin foil to make things for a few months now and his "statues" keep getting more elaborate and interesting. He is a very imaginative boy.

Happy Egg Hunting!!

Jack

Jack's school had an Easter Eggstraviganza. The had the high school kids hide all the eggs in a half acre area and let the elementary school kids go wild. Jack had a blast!! he was running around all over with about 100 other kids gathering up eggs and candy. He even got to go home early that day!

Jackson

Jack had a great year in 2007. He lost 3 teeth, learned how to read AND enjoy it, learned how to paint, made new friends, made some awesome grades, got his own room, and started showing an interest in art. He had some downs too. There was an incident of bullying that has been addressed, he had his share of sick days, and one if his favorite teachers left the school.

Jack is one of those kids you have no choice but to love. He's talkitive, bright, inquisitive, as are all children. He has a wonderful imagination and he's truly generous. He makes me proud.

He's such a big boy

Day One

Remember back when jack was tossle-haired, smiling and laughing? Well the hair is no longer tossled but he's still a happy kid. 1st grade goes good with him. He is in a program called Voyager. Its a reading program for children that didn't go to pre-kindergarten. Jack is being pulled out of Voyager because his teacher believes he does not need it. I agree after seeing his test scores. WAY above average. Jack is already reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone to me.

Jack's Alter Ego

Mo altered a few soday boxes we had and made them into robot masks. This is shortly after we went to see Transformers. For the longest time, Jack swore Optimus Prime was real.
